If you are concerned about an individual then you should speak to a professional about these. Normally this will be a medical professional but a social worker or care manager will also be able to help
The first person to contact may well be the individual's doctor (GP)
You should also think about some of the other possible reasons for your concerns. For example physical ill health. People who have a learning disability can have some common treatable conditions that are being missed (this is also called overshadowing) . It is worth checking these out where possible as mental health professionals may want these doing before making a diagnosis of mental ill health
