Lots of people with a learning disability have problems with their hearing or their vision.
These problems can often be missed by those supporting them and it is important to have these checked out regularly.
Sometimes peoples 'challenging behaviour' can be due to them not being able to see or hear properly.
Supporters - think how you might react if thought someone you support was 'ignoring' you. How might your reactions and responses be different if you knew they were having problems seeing or hearing you.
